Kill the ogres and gnolls and go left at the base of the hill. Now return to the save spot in the Burning Eye Summit area. Clear out the rest of the area before continuing on your way. Further to the south there is a second dwarven corpse. Head down the slope to the gnoll/ogre camp. Kill the gnolls and continue heading east. When back at the Summit, return to the save spot and head right now. ![]() ![]() You may wish to clear out the rest of the monsters by going down unexplored paths, and I strongly suggest doing so. Leave the cave and head back to the Burning Eye Summit. Search the dwarven corpse to find the Flint. The second one leads to the last save spot and an Ice Cave. Take both diverging paths to maximize experience. Take a left at the first intersection after the save spot and round the loop. Head left to get to the Burning Eye Summit West. You¿ll then be presented by three routes. Walk through it and continue on your way to the second save spot. The first notable area is a gnoll/ogre camp. Leave the cave and continue up the mountain side. Enter the nearby Ice Cave and loot it (watch out for the three ignitable casks!). Once again, wolves guard the first save spot. Kill them for the fun of it and then head for the Burning Eye Summit. The cave is the home to a pack of wolves. If you go north here you¿ll enter the Burning Eye Summit area ¿ instead go to the southeast and enter the cave. They are just as easy to kill as the earlier versions were. The Icy Burst Mithral Dagger and the Mithral Scimitar +2 are both good choices (depending if you want good maximum or minimum damage). Vahn should purchase the Frost Masterwork Shortbow +2, and both he and Adrianna should think about purchasing a good one-handed weapon. Kromlech would be interested in buying the Masterwork Great Sword of Speed or the cheaper Frost Masterwork Warhammer +2, if he wants to be able to use all his skills. There are no real paths that you can use to deviate from this course. There is pretty much nothing to do here except kill things that get in your way. The path is loaded with gnolls (they hit hard, but are only a threat in large groups), and yetis (the game calls them that for some reason ¿ they hit hard and throw rocks). The object here is to follow the path to the end, the dwarven Mine Camp.
